Data entry of pathology request forms using laboratory application software.
Provision of results to clients and medical practitioners.
Maintain laboratory workplace safety.
Apply quality systems and continuous improvement processes.
Compliance with OH&S standards.
Other administrative tasks as directed.
The role is based at our Burnie laboratory.
Selection Criteria
Previous data entry experience and competence with a range of computer application programs.
Previous experience with, or a sound knowledge of medical terminology.
A keen eye for detail and exceptional accuracy in data transfer operations.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as autonomously without direct supervision.
An understanding of quality control techniques and a commitment to service excellence.
Medical practice/reception experience will be considered an advantage.
