Position Title: Health Promotion Officer
Classification: Dependent on Qualifications & Experience
Salary per hour: Dependent on Qualifications & Experience + superannuation + generous salary packaging options
Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract Part-time 56 hours per fortnight until 28 August 2026

Role description
Join Dhelkaya Health, a values-driven health service on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, committed to improving the health and wellbeing of the community of the Mount Alexander Shire and beyond. We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Health Promotion Officer to lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of our Integrated Health Promotion Plan. In this role, you will work with internal stakeholders and a wide range of community partners to address priority health issues, empower individuals and communities, and reduce health inequalities through innovative and evidence-based initiatives. You will also support volunteer engagement and mentor Public Health Promotion students. About you
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications in Health Promotion, or relevant discipline such as Public Health, Health Science, Community Development or Allied Health.
Desirable:
- Registration as a Health Promotion Practitioner
- 3 or more years' experience working in the delivery of health promotion services
