We are collaborating with one of our valued clients, Data Action, to recruit a Product Manager to join their Technology team.
About the Client
Supporting the financial wellbeing of Australians for over 30 years, Data Action is a leading provider of digital and technology solutions and services to support the alternative banking sector including Mutual banks, neo banks, credit unions and purpose led financial institutions.
About the Role
The Product Manager is accountable for end-to-end product management of Ancillary and Partnered Products, suppiled or facilitated by Data Action. This includes taking products from initial ideation to strategy, market analysis, business case development, product plan, feature definition, development prioritisation, roadmap, release plan, go to market plan and continuous improvement.
This role is accountable for the profit and loss, including how it contributes to the broader Technology portfolio and Data Action's profit and loss. In addition to this, the responsibilities include:
* Focused on maximising the business value of a product, including monetisation of the product and its revenue strategy/revenue potential to DA
* Own customer engagement, including user groups, backlog management and feature refinement and development
* Developing, defining and maintaining a client-oriented product roadmap
* Builds and maintains key relationships with relevant external bodies, technology vendors, industry research specialists and other appropriate networks to keep the organisation informed of recent digital opportunities and market competition
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
* 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
* Proven leadership in product management, marketing, sales or product development, preferably in web-based products, including the driving process, system and product improvement to meet customer needs
* Ability to maximise the business value of a product, including monetisation of the product and its revenue strategy/revenue potential
