About The OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Aerospace Quality Specialist to join the team at RAAF base in Pearce, WA. You will be responsible for ensuring quality and compliance in aviation maintenance, supporting safety and quality systems, and driving continuous improvement within the Hawk program to deliver safe, efficient, and high-performing results.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide quality support to the Maintenance Organisation within a defence aviation environment
* Conduct Quality Assurance activities to ensure compliance with Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) and ISO standards
* Monitor and maintain the site related Lead-In Fighter Quality Management System (QMS)
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Hawk program
* Identify and help eliminate non-value-added activities to improve efficiency and service delivery
* Collaborate with maintenance and management teams to uphold high standards of quality and safety
About YOU
* Proven experience or qualifications in an aviation maintenance environment
* Knowledge of Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR or CASR) is highly desirable
* Formal qualifications in Quality Assurance
