Team Leader - Virtual Care
This is a challenging role that requires an experienced and skilled pharmacy professional to lead the delivery of virtual care services.
Key Responsibilities:
* To coordinate clinical and logistical service delivery for virtual care services, including medication distribution and clinical services to inpatients and outpatients.
* Operate independently in the provision of complex pharmacy activities to patients by demonstrating advanced knowledge, skills and experience relevant to pharmacy practice.
* Supervise pharmacy teams under the broad delegation of the pharmacy service manager, including direction of work priorities and practices; monitoring workflow; management of staff, professional supervision and development, performance appraisal and implementing programs and strategies to address identified training needs.

The Virtual Care Pharmacy Service is a dynamic and growing team delivering innovative inpatient and outpatient care through programs such as Hospital in the Home or any other programs that may be placed under this service. The team works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care, with a strong focus on improving health outcomes, supporting our workforce, and enhancing community wellbeing.
About the Role:
The Team Leader – Virtual Care works independently under the broad supervision of the Virtual Care Pharmacy Manager to coordinate clinical and logistical service delivery for virtual care services. This includes directing the provision of complex pharmacy activities to patients, supervising pharmacy teams, and implementing programs and strategies to address identified training needs.
