Here at BBC we have been privileged to have a great group of staff who have been by our side through all of covid and beyond. **About us**
Bowral Bowling Club is a sports and community club based in Bowral, in the heart of the Southern Highlands NSW. The club has a fantastic outlook over Mt Gibraltar, a small team of staff who work closely together and a great Board of Directors who are supportive and happy to see the club thriving.
We currently have a mix of shifts available, with weekend day shifts earliest starting from around 10am or midday, and closes usually out by 10pm in the week or around midnight on Friday/Saturday.
If you come to work for us we promise a friendly and supportive environment from the top to the bottom. Our General Manager has over 15 years experience in hospitality and is very much a “lead from the front line” kind of manager, who loves to be on the floor. There are no paper pushers here!
The Club runs a busy Trivia night on Thursday evenings, raffles on Friday nights, monthly Saturday market days and a popular Sunday roast lunch. We have play areas for children both inside and out, run a buzzing barefoot bowls trade, especially across the Summer season and weekly Club comp days for both bowls and croquet.
We are here to run a fun, vibrant, family friendly venue and are looking for someone with positive vibes and a ‘can do’ attitude! **Qualifications & experience**
**Bar Staff**:
- RSA and RCG required
- Previous bar experience highly regarded
- Willing to train someone with the right enthusiasm
- Experience with TAB, Keno and pokies highly regarded however training will be provided
- Coffee and/or cocktail experience a bonus
- Shifts available across days and evenings, both weekday and weekend
**Supervisor**:
- RSA and RCG required
- At least 2 years experience in hospitality or customer service based industry
- Cash handling experience
- Previous management experience highly regarded
- Experience with TAB, Keno and pokies highly regarded
- AML training highly regarded
- Must be comfortable closing the venue, speaking to authorities and handling customer conflict resolution (training will be provided)
- Must be available to work nights and weekends
