Parts Counterperson Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our sales department as a Parts Counterperson.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate customer needs and recommend parts required.
* Answer and make sales calls to meet customer expectations.
* Process incoming and outgoing freight efficiently.
* Leverage inventory knowledge to locate or order parts from suppliers.
* Generate quotes, complete orders, and provide excellent customer service.
* Negotiate key sales issues and handle objections professionally.
* Support customers post-sale with warranty information.
* Explain warranty coverage to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other staff members as needed.
This role requires previous experience in the Medium / Heavy Duty truck, automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess:
* A high degree of product and technical knowledge.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A team player mindset with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
* The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* A self-motivated individual who is driven to achieve sales goals.
