Electrical Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrical professional to lead our operations across the region.
This role is responsible for overseeing electrical teams, conducting audits, managing safety systems, and providing expert technical advice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert guidance and consultancy to staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Supervise and support the delivery of electrical construction, maintenance, and upgrade projects.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Australian Standards, and safety protocols.
* Conduct regular site inspections and WHS audits, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety procedures.
* Support the delivery of minor air-conditioning and refrigeration installations.
* Supervise the use of risk assessment tools and ensure proper recording of electrical testing and certification.
* Provide accurate costing for repairs, upgrades, and electrical works.
* Coordinate training, assessment, and performance development of apprentices and electrical staff.
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe work culture, ensuring adherence to modern HR practices and principles.
* Travel regionally (including overnight stays) and occasionally via light aircraft to support on-site operations.
Requirements:
* Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence – Mechanic or Fitter/Mechanic.
* Demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical installations with a high standard of compliance and workmanship.
* Current General Safety Induction (Construction White Card).
* Current CPR and Low Voltage Rescue certification.
* Valid Queensland "C" Class Driver's Licence.
* A willingness to be nominated as a Qualified Technical Person (QTP) on our organisation's electrical contractor licence and complete relevant QTP competencies.
