About Our Client

Our client is a well-regarded, multi-discipline law firm with a strong reputation in the ACT, NSW and VIC. They have a progressive, client-centred ethos - specialising in the areas of wills & estates and family law.

They are known for innovation (including collaborative law and out-of-court solutions), supported by an open work culture designed to promote professional development and collaboration.

This role offers a rare opportunity to join the firm at an early stage of your career and build your skill-set within their esteemed Wills & Estates team, learning from some of the best in practice.

Job Description

As a Wills & Estates Lawyer with approximately 0-2 years PQE, you will:

* Draft wills, enduring powers of attorney, and other estate-planning documents across the ACT (and NSW when required).
* Assist with probate, estate administration and deceased estate matters.
* Participate in client meetings, giving advice under supervision and helping manage straightforward estate planning instructions.
* Support senior team members in estate-dispute work, testamentary trust structures, and strategic estate planning.
* Collaborate with other practice areas (family law, business advisory) to provide holistic advice to clients.
* Embrace the firm's modern, team-based approach to legal delivery, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and client service enhancements.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role you will bring:

* Admission to practice in the ACT (or eligible for immediate admission) and approximately 0-2 years PQE (or new admittee keen to specialise in wills & estates).
* Some experience (or strong interest) in wills, enduring documents, deceased estates or related matters.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - you will engage with clients, advisers and executors in a clear and professional manner.
* Strong research, drafting and analytical ability, with keen attention to detail and commercial awareness.
* A proactive, collaborative working style, aligned with a progressive and inclusive culture.
* A desire to develop and build a career in the wills & estates space within a well-regarded firm.
