Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently looking for enthusiastic Receptionist to join a well-established client service team within a large sport and recreation venue on the Gold Coast.
The venue operates Monday to Sunday and provides facilities and services in both a community leisure centre and residential accommodation setting, and hosts activities and events for large school, community, and sporting groups.
As a key front-line team member, you will play a vital role in contributing to the overall experience for visitors and the role requires an organised individual with strong customer service skills who can work in a fast-paced environment both autonomously and in a cohesive team.
Duties and responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
* Deliver high-quality customer service by providing accurate information and promoting the Precinct’s offerings
* Assist with enquiries and bookings related to the Leisure Centre
* Manage incoming calls, transfer calls appropriately, and take clear, accurate messages
* Respond to public enquiries or refer them to the relevant department
* Perform administrative and reception duties, including point-of-sale transactions
* Maintain financial records and process transactions accurately
* Support the Venue Services Coordinator with client bookings and requests
What we are looking for:
* Previous administration experience (tourism, recreation, and hospitality industries) – site specific training will be provided
* Positive Blue card – mandatory (obtained prior to commencement)
* Availability to work Monday to Sunday between 6:00am to 9:00pm and weekends.
