Job Description of Infrastructure Senior PM in Melbourne/ Sydney: As part of Customer Corporate Enablement Portfolio in Digital division, we are looking to implement and run a large lifecycle project. The intent of the project is to keep our applications and infrastructure up to date and offset any end of life operational risk. The project will include multiple initiatives under it that address end of life risk due to ageing hardware, applications, tools, software, data centre facilities and end user devices. Ideal candidate will have strong project management acumen and expereince in running similar lifecycle projects and upgrades.
Responsibilities
* Define, manage and control Lifecycle project to ensure that quality, cost, and time requirements are met. Such projects often involve complex technical (information technology or electrical engineering) aspects.
* Coordinate demand and co-present Lifecycle (end of life) infrastructure or application initiatives for approval to relevant delegation of authority.
* Consult and engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success, and stakeholder expectations are well defined and met.
* Develop and maintain procedures (eg. Project Management Plan (PMP), policies, and controls to facilitate the achievement of key milestones within the project.
* Provide regular executive level status reports, communications and advice on the project, risks, and issues to internal and external stakeholders. Escalate through appropriate channels where required.
* Evaluate the project and provide feedback to key stakeholders on benefits achieved and opportunities for improvement as part of driving continuous improvement across the businesss
