We have opportunities for experienced Maintenance Fitter Team leader based at our Pakenham site on afternoon shift (non-rotating), to ensure our production and manufacturing processes are safely and effectively maintained to achieve production outcomes.
As the Maintenance Fitter Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance activities, support a team of skilled fitters, and ensure our equipment and machinery are operating at peak performance. This role combines technical expertise with team coordination, planning, and continuous improvement.

What you offer:
* Experience in installations, repairs and maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment, preferably primary food processing industry
* Experience in fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and complex mechanical systems
* Experience in breakdown as well and preventive maintenance
* Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
* Strong attention to detail, information processing and problem solving skills required along with the ability to multitask
* Ability to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance
* Routine maintenance functions for the manufacturing facility
* Machine fault finding to ensure challenging production targets are met and equipment optimization
* Computer literate & ability to navigate your way around our preventative maintenance program, MEX
* Working knowledge of WHS principles
* Production maintenance, fabrication, repair and close out of MEX requests will be a focus of this position.
* Minimum Certificate III in a mechanical trade qualification
* Demonstrated experience in a food or pharma manufacturer preferred
