Quality Assurance Specialist in Aged Care
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the establishment and maintenance of quality and clinical governance systems and processes across Residential Aged Care homes in Victoria and Tasmania.
This position is responsible for driving continuous improvement measures by identifying, monitoring, and actioning activities to enhance the quality of resident care and ensure compliance with relevant standards. You will work closely with Home Managers, General Manager, Learning & Development, and Clinical Governance teams to achieve these objectives.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Coach and support staff onsite to enhance day-to-day compliance and clinical governance.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality indicators, resident outcomes, and experience.
* Ensure timely completion of monthly audits, reports, and data analysis at the home level.
* Collaborate with leadership to address non-compliance and implement remedy work.
Essential Requirements:
* Experience as a Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse, or other Health Professional.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience within the aged care sector.
* Ability to travel interstate and to Calvary Aged Care homes in Victoria and Tasmania.
* Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
