The Role
Due to the continued growth of our Retail and Farming operations, we are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Accountant to join our Head Office team in O'Connor.
About You
If you are a recently qualified CA/CPA Accountant looking to gain experience or a seasoned accountant looking for a new challenge in a diverse organisation, this role will suit you. You will need to be proactive, solutions-focused and confident working within a dynamic environment. As the business is continually growing, you are adaptable to change and enjoy taking on new challenges.
Responsibilities/Duties
Include but not limited to:
* AP & AR processing for nominated companies.
* Take ownership of month-end close and account reconciliations for nominated companies.
* Prepare and lodge BAS obligations for nominated companies.
* Liaise with internal purchasing team and assist with import costings.
* Provide supporting documentation for audits.
* Support finance team as required on other adhoc tasks.
Skills
* Previous MYOB experience.
* Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC or WiiSE would be advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data validation.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Adaptable to change.
* Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
