Job scope
This is a great opportunity to get involved in the development of a new emergency medicine service. You will help the Director of Emergency Medicine in the provision of high-quality clinical services whilst ensuring the education of medical staff colleagues, students, allied health and interested community groups or nursing staff. Further you will be expected to take the lead and participate inpatient safety, audit, research and service planning activities. There are also support services such as Cardiac Cathlab and a 10 bed Short Stay Unit and there is a great, fullyequipped medical library on site with a large collection.
Remuneration package highlights
* Up to $603k + oncall / overtime a package which includes :
* Motor vehicle allowance $21-$25.5k depending on salary band - paid.
* 3.6 weeks professional development leave.
* $21.5k professional development allowance - paid.

Selection criteria
* FACEM or those who will soon complete their Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM) Fellowship examination are also encouraged to apply.
* If not FACEM and you are trained outside of Australia, you will have completed your training in Ireland, UK, USA, Canada or South Africa or have been assessed as SC.
* A demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement.
* Willingness to participate in internal teaching and supervision programs.
* Sound knowledge of contemporary emergency medicine.
* High level communication skills.
