Position Overview
The Marketing and Administration Assistant plays a key role in supporting both the marketing and administrative functions of the Cairns campus. This position is responsible for assisting with student recruitment initiatives, promoting the institute’s brand, and ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
Marketing Support
* Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote courses and increase student enrolments
* Support social media management, content creation, and online engagement
* Coordinate marketing events, including open days, student activities, and networking events
* Liaise with agents and partners to support recruitment activities
* Assist in maintaining and updating marketing materials (brochures, flyers, website content)
* Monitor and report on marketing activities and outcomes
Administrative Support
* Provide front desk support, including responding to student inquiries (in person, phone, and email)
* Assist with student enrolment processes and documentation
* Maintain accurate student records and databases
* Support compliance requirements and reporting (including attendance and student documentation)
* Coordinate schedules, meetings, and campus activities
* Assist with general office duties such as filing, data entry, and record management
Key Selection Criteria
Essential:
* Previous experience in administration and/or marketing support roles
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* High level of organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Customer service-focused approach
Desirable:
* Experience in the education or international student sector
* Knowledge of CRICOS/RTO environment
* Experience with social media platforms and basic digital marketing tools

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
