About the role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Assistant is a pivotal support role within AACHWA. We are seeking someone with exceptional communication skills, strong organisational capability and meticulous attention to detail to provide high‐level executive and administrative support to the CEO and Board. This includes managing governance processes, preparing board documentation, coordinating membership applications, and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
The role requires someone who can operate with a high degree of autonomy, navigate repetitive and process‐driven tasks with consistency, and maintain absolute confidentiality across all executive functions. Given the dynamic nature of the organisation, the Executive Assistant must be adaptable, proactive and able to anticipate the needs of the CEO and Board.
In addition to executive support, the position contributes to broader office management activities, helping ensure smooth day‐to‐day operations and supporting the wider team when required.
This role is not a corporate EA position— it is hands‐on, grounded in community‐focused work, and requires someone who is comfortable with repetitive tasks, detailed processes and working independently.
