Our Peer Support Team Member Role

* This role involves supporting and mentoring peer workers through reflective practice, supervision, and onboarding.
* You will facilitate peer-led recovery groups in community settings.
* Lead the development and review of Individual Recovery Plans and participant exit planning.
* Coordinate with stakeholders and referral partners to support collaborative care.
* Monitor engagement and follow-up on non-attendance, embedding outreach strategies.
* Compile reports on outcomes and contribute to service evaluation.
* Represent the peer workforce in planning, quality improvement, and team discussions.
* Ensure program expenditure is tracked and reconciled accurately.
* Promote recovery principles and intentional peer support in all aspects of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

* Mentor and support peer workers through reflective practice and supervision.
* Facilitate peer-led recovery groups in diverse community settings.
* Develop and review Individual Recovery Plans for participants.
* Work collaboratively with stakeholders to support collaborative care.
* Embed outreach strategies to improve engagement.
* Contribute to service evaluation and outcome reporting.
* Represent the peer workforce in planning and team discussions.
* Ensure accurate tracking of program expenditure.
* Promote recovery principles and intentional peer support.

Requirements:

* Lived experience of mental illness with minimum 2 years in recovery.
* Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent qualification.
* Current unrestricted driver's license.
* Intentional Peer Support Core Training Certificate.
* CPR Certification.
* Experience in mentoring or supervising peer workers.
* Strong group facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Commitment to trauma-informed, recovery-focused, and culturally safe practice.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic client record systems.
