Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to oversee the entire lifecycle of our building assets, drive strategic planning, maintenance, and renewal to ensure long-term sustainability.
* Lead and develop a high-performing team by providing clear direction and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and community groups to deliver exceptional service standards.
* Develop, implement, and review the building asset management plan to guide annual and long-term capital works.
This role requires a degree in Building, Construction, Asset Management, or Project Management, along with relevant experience or a lesser qualification accompanied by significant experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Oversight of inspections, maintenance, and renewals of building assets to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
* Coordination of design, scope, and delivery of minor refurbishment projects to enhance property value.
* Management of service delivery contracts to guarantee operational and public facilities meet agreed standards.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, strong leadership experience, and in-depth knowledge of WHS practices, facilities management, and building maintenance principles.
