About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient storage, distribution, and inventory management of a high-SKU environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Manager will lead a dedicated team to achieve operational excellence while upholding safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth storage, picking, and distribution processes.
2. Drive performance to meet KPIs across DIFOT, inventory accuracy, pick rates, and warehouse optimization.
3. Implement and maintain LEAN, 5S, or other Continuous Improvement methodologies to streamline operations.
4. Conduct toolbox talks ("Delta Process") to foster communication and safety awareness among team members.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and deliver outstanding service.
About You
1. Proven experience in warehouse management, ideally within retail or wholesale sectors, though not essential.
2. Familiarity with managing a high range of SKUs and a strong understanding of inventory systems.
3. Knowledge of parts or components is advantageous but not required.
4. Qualification or experience in LEAN/5S/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
5. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to drive team performance and implement process improvements.
