Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Esri Australia. You’ll drive new business growth by running targeted outbound and inbound sales programs, qualifying current prospective clients, uncovering opportunities, and setting the stage for success. 
You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll work closely with Account Executives to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads, and collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and other teams on campaigns, initiatives, and solution recommendations that make a real impact. This role is a launchpad within our sales career ladder, with the opportunity to develop skills for enterprise software sales or other roles leveraging GIS technology.

Responsibilities 
- Drive new business by generating and qualifying sales opportunities through strategic outbound campaigns. 
- Partner with varied teams internally to target key accounts, book meetings, and progress opportunities. 
- Develop and refine lead generation strategies, build and nurture relationships with stakeholders, and ensure smooth handover of qualified leads into the sales pipeline using Salesforce. 
- Analyze sales data and campaign performance to identify trends, improve approaches, and maximise results. 
- Mentor junior SDRs and share best practices in outreach, qualification, and sales engagement. 
About You 
- Proven experience in lead generation, business development, or sales development; IT or technology sector experience is highly regarded. 
- Leadership qualities with ability to mentor junior team members. 
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to engage prospects, build trust, and articulate value-add opportunities. 
- High emotional intelligence, adaptability, resilience, and a positive mindset in a fast-paced environment. 
- Ability to build and nurture professional relationships via phone, email, and online meetings. 
- Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with the drive to overcome challenges and deliver results. 
- Appetite to learn about the spatial industry is essential. 
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or Commerce are preferred but not mandatory. 
- You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia.
