Redpath Australia currently has opportunity for a Storeperson to join the team at our Dugald River Project, North Queensland.
Responsibilities
The role involves
Performing an array of warehousing and stores functions that may include but are not limited to:
* Managing all stock movements (internal & external to site) and openly investigate discrepancies that arise.
* Running daily cycle counts, receiving and processing incoming stock and bulk materials.
* Picking and packing and using associated machinery to receive and despatch materials onto linehaul trailers or throughout site.
* Receipt and issue stock in accordance with company procedures.
* Using Oracle to perform inventory transactions as required and ensure housekeeping and warehouse integrity is maintained throughout the shift.
Qualifications
We are looking for
Previous experience in a similar role within the mining or heavy manufacturing industry.
Proficient in the use of Oracle, JD Edwards or similar inventory management system.
LF High risk forklift licence
Current working at heights qualification;
Have excellent knowledge in Chain of Responsibility (COR) legislation;
Certificate III in supply chain/warehousing (or Above);
Trained in transportation and storage of dangerous goods or excellent understanding of storage requirements;
A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto,Consider it done — safely.
