Job Role Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled care worker to join our community nursing team.
* Deliver exceptional care and support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
* Provide light domestic assistance, shopping and other daily tasks to ensure clients' needs are met.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and a passion for working with older adults and people with disabilities. You will be required to work autonomously and as part of a team, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to manage multiple client visits throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with personal care, mobility and daily living activities.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families and carers.
You will need to have a reliable vehicle, a current driver's license and full insurance. A Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Community Care is also essential, along with relevant experience in a comparable role. Covid vaccinations are mandatory for this position due to its connection with the aged care sector.
Requirements:
* Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role
* Cert III Aged, Disability or Community Care qualification
* Reliable vehicle, current driver's license and full insurance
* Current Working with Children check
* First Aid/CPR certification
* National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
