Bus Operations Assistant - Entry Level
2 positions available; 1 in Sunbury and 1 in Kyneton
Due to our continued growth SUNBURY COACHES and ORGANS COACHES (part of the Donric Group) are currently recruiting for a Bus Operations Assistant to be based in Sunbury and Kyneton.
This is an entry-level role with on-the-job training provided, making it ideal for someone wanting to build experience in an operations role.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Bus Operations Assistants are responsible for the coordination and execution of all operational requirements within the bus company.
The role will support day‑to‑day operations within the depot and will involve a range of administrative and coordination tasks, including but not limited to:
* Assisting with charter and coach operations, including job creation, data entry, quoting support, job confirmation, and communicating work details to drivers
* Assisting with incident and operational reporting
* Supporting service scheduling and coordinating with maintenance
* Managing operational rosters and general staffing requirements
* Entering and maintaining passenger and service data
* Supporting new staff onboarding and record maintenance
* Participating in on‑call operational support when required
To become a valued member of our team, you will need:
* A current minimum Victorian Drivers Licence
* Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
* Must be available to work Monday to Friday
* Excellent Customer Service skills
* Excellent communication skills (English language both oral and written)
* Willing to learn
