Overview
Women’s Safety Services SA (WSSSA) is a leading provider of support services for women and children experiencing domestic and family violence. Our organisation shares a vision for a society where women and their children live safely and thrive in communities free from all forms of violence.
The Alliance (SA Domestic and Family Violence Safety Alliance) brings together multiple partners across the domestic violence sector to work collaboratively to create a coordinated, whole-of-system approach to the provision of services across South Australia.
The Alliance vision is that our communities are safe and free from family and domestic violence. The Alliance aims to provide: collective ownership, responsibility and accountability; best outcomes for clients at the heart of decision-making; pooling of skills, assets, experience and expertise; equal voices across all partners; and a partnership between government and service-delivery organisations.

The ASM will focus on delivering transformational change through the implementation and administration of Alliance decisions and achievement of the DFV Safety Alliance Strategic Plan goals and objectives.
The role provides leadership and representation across DFVSA and the wider sector, advice to the Alliance Leadership Team, and direction to and chairing the Alliance Management Team (AMT) and overseeing AMT. The ASM may also hold Alliance chair roles and work to ensure the best outcomes for clients of DFVSA.
This position is employed by the Lead Participant of the Alliance, Women’s Safety Services SA (WSSSA), but will work wholly for the Alliance and report to the Alliance Leadership Team. This is a full-time, fixed-term position to 30 June 2027.
