We are seeking an exceptional researcher to join our laboratory at the University of Queensland. The successful candidate will conduct world-leading research in quantum biotechnology, applying cutting-edge techniques to explore protein dynamics and function.
About This Opportunity
This is a unique chance to contribute to the ARC Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC). Your work will focus on the use of photonic single protein sensors to observe, control and understand protein behaviour, advancing knowledge at the interface of quantum science and life sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Research: Develop and implement innovative research projects, collaborate with colleagues, secure funding opportunities, publish high-impact research papers, and participate in project discussions.
* Supervision and Researcher Development: Provide guidance and support to students and researchers, recruit and manage staff, offer performance feedback and training, resolve conflicts, and ensure accurate remuneration and benefits.
* Citizenship and Service: Build partnerships, demonstrate leadership through mentoring, engage in internal service roles and committees, perform administrative tasks, provide support to colleagues, and uphold university values.
