As the Delivery Manager for our Federal Government client in this **12 month contract**, you will own and drive operational excellence in the teams responsible for new digital product development.
You'll showcase your enthusiasm for leadership by guiding agile delivery teams in the planning, development, delivery, and early support of digital technology solutions. No two days will be the same as you manage project delivery aspects including scheduling, people leadership, facilitating agile events, providing thought-leadership, and championing a continuous improvement culture.
You will also regularly engage with key business stakeholders to understand their unique objectives and requests, participate with business analysts in discovery and definition scoping where required, and ultimately triage and prioritise the work. You will make your mark with stakeholders by proactively keeping them informed and engaged in appropriate formats and forums as well as enabling self-service visibility of status updates in Azure DevOps.
**Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance **will be considered for this role.
**The experience and skills for this role are**:
- 5+ years' experience in roles such as delivery management, scrum master, agile coaching, or equivalent
- Agile certifications desirable
- Delivery management capability from ideation through to implementation
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), problem solving, and executive presentation skills
- A desire to innovate and transform
- Curiosity and open-mindedness, as well as the confidence to challenge constructively all levels of management
- Hands-on, get-it-done demeanour with excellent project management skills for both complex and BAU digital projects, with a focus on agile delivery
- Excellent cross-functional collaborator, striking deep relationships and ability to influence functional teams to gain consensus on vision for driving performance objectives.
