Summary
An established and highly respected Tier 2 commercial builder is seeking a Project Engineer to join the team delivering a $60m+ mixed-use development in West Perth. This landmark project includes residential, aged care, and commercial components, offering excellent exposure to a complex multi-stage build.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Engineer looking to step into a key delivery role on a technically challenging project with a well-resourced and experienced project team.
The Role - Project Engineer
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating site delivery and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing project engineering functions across structural and services packages
* Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered in line with programme
* Driving construction methodology and sequencing across multiple building components
* Supporting procurement and subcontractor engagement
* Monitoring programme, cost, and quality outcomes
* Working closely with site management, consultants, and the client team
* Ensuring compliance with safety and quality system
About You
* 3–7 years' experience working for a commercial building head contractor
* Degree qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
* Experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects ($20m+)
* Strong technical understanding of structures and services coordination
* Excellent stakeholder and subcontractor management skills
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach to delivery
