About the Role
The advertised position is for an experienced and highly skilled manager to lead a research and policy team to work on a new community law reform project.
Responsibilities
Managing research and policy teams undertaking a self-generated community law reform project
Planning and leading the project after assessing its scope and the resources available to produce the required product in the agreed timeframes
Managing progress on a day-to-day basis, including research, consultation and the drafting of issues papers and final reports
Qualifications
Highly-developed legal and non-legal research skills and proven ability to analyse complex legal and policy issues
An ability to identify reform trends and develop options for improving law and practice within agreed timetables
Highly-developed writing skills
Excellent oral communication, liaison and interpersonal skills, and an ability to work with external stakeholders
