The position of Senior Learning Officer is a key role in developing and delivering high-quality training programs for child safety staff across the state of Queensland.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing contemporary learning strategies to ensure equitable access to research-based training initiatives.
You will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to establish collaborative working relationships and maintain accurate training records for child safety staff.
This position involves developing and delivering departmental training imperatives, such as Interviewing Children and Recording Evidence (ICARE), and other activities as directed by your Manager.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in adult education and training, including the ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective training programs.
You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

2. Use contemporary learning strategies and technology to ensure equitable access for child safety staff across the state to high-quality research-based training initiatives.
3. Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, including child safety service centre staff, and other government and non-government organisations.
4. Maintain accurate training records for child safety staff, monitoring and reviewing enrolment and completion data.
