This role will perform Training Manager activities and has the following outcomes/accountabilities:
Role Requirements:
- Develop a comprehensive Learning Strategy and plan following modern learning principles and approaches, including the identification and management of learning risk.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify learning and development priorities across the department.
- Analyse performance metrics, feedback, and skill gaps to inform learning strategies.
- Design and develop learning curricula, training materials, and resources tailored to the needs of different employee groups and learning styles.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and presentations both in-person and virtually.
- Utilise various instructional techniques and technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Establish evaluation criteria and methodologies to measure the quality and effectiveness of learning interventions.
- Collect and analyse feedback from participants to continuously improve learning experiences and outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal Learning and Development team, senior managers, and other stakeholders to align learning initiatives with project and departmental objectives and priorities.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of learning and development.
Mandatory Requirements:
- A detailed knowledge and understanding of adult learning and modern instructional design principles, methodologies, and tools, is required with a minimum of 10 years learning/OCM consulting experience working in a similar capacity on large scale ICT programs/projects.
- Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery.
- Proven experience working in an Agile project delivery methodology, including working with external vendors, in a fast-paced delivery environment.
- Proficiency in the use of learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.

Desirable Requirements:
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Certification in instructional design or training facilitation and experience in gamification in learning would be highly regarded.
- Experience in using a range of software products such as SharePoint Online administration, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Visio, Project, MS Office, Viva Engage, Forms, and so on.
