 
        
        Perilya is a leading Australian base metals mining and exploration company, operating one of the country's most iconic underground mines in Broken Hill, NSW. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Surveyor to join our technical services team and support the safe and efficient development of our operations.
About the Role
As an Underground Mine Surveyor, you will provide accurate and timely survey control and data to support mine planning, production, and development. Working closely with engineers, geologists, and operational teams, you will play a key role in ensuring precision, compliance, and efficiency in all underground activities.
Key Responsibilities
 * Carry out underground and surface mine surveying tasks, including pickups and mark-ups.
 * Maintain survey control networks and ensure accuracy of mine plans.
 * Update and manage survey databases and drawings using industry software.
 * Support statutory compliance with NSW Resources Regulator requirements.
 * Provide survey input to mine designs, production reporting, and end-of-month processes.
 * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the survey function.
About You
 * Tertiary qualifications in Surveying (or working towards).
 * Experience in underground mining preferred, but open to strong graduates or BOSSI candidates.
 * Proficiency in mine survey software (e.g., Surpac, Deswik, AutoCAD) desirable.
 * Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and teamwork skills.
 * Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
