Position Details
* Position: Accountant
* Employment Type: Full‐Time
* Location: Greenwood WA 6024
* Salary: $78,000 – $82,000 per annum plus superannuation
* Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain financial reports, management accounts, and supporting financial records to assist business decision‐making.
* Monitor budgets, analyse financial performance, and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
* Ensure the accuracy of accounting records, account reconciliations, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements.
* Assist with taxation obligations, cash flow management, financial forecasting, and the preparation of financial documentation.
* Develop and maintain effective accounting systems, internal controls, and financial procedures to support business operations and compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation requirements.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
