About the role Deliver evidence-based psychological care that truly changes lives across admitted and non-admitted rehabilitation services – assess, treat, and support patients on their journey through medical rehabilitation, helping them achieve their best possible outcomes. Shape the future of treatment by measuring the effectiveness of your interventions using outcome tools and feedback from patients and carers – your impact will be seen and felt. Empower others with your expertise – provide education, guidance, and support to staff, patients, and carers to ensure your recommendations are implemented effectively. Collaborate in a dynamic multidisciplinary team – attend case conferences and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, coordinated care for every patient. Be a valued voice across the hospital – offer expert consultation on clinical psychology matters within the team and across St. Vincent’s Hospital to influence broader patient care strategies. About you Current AHPRA registration and clinical psychology endorsement (or eligibility to obtain both), with supervisor approval from the Psychology Board of Australia—or a clear pathway and motivation to get there. Proven experience delivering time-limited Cognitive Behaviour Therapy across a variety of emotional and medical conditions, with a strong foundation in evidence-based care. Interest or experience in running mindfulness groups, with openness to developing new therapeutic skills in this area. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with a collaborative approach that enhances multidisciplinary teamwork.
