Our client - one of Australia's top manufacturers of roll‑formed steel building products - is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator's to join their high‑performing team in Maddington on a casual basis.
The Role
* Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:06pm
* Pay Rate : $34.68/hr (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
* Hands‑on role in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
* Training provided on overhead crane operation
* Manual handling of Sheetmetal product, lengths can be anywhere from 1m - 3m long, not overly heavy but can be awkward lengths.
* Working with products such as flashings, cladding, and steel coils
* Loading steel coils onto machines using overhead crane (training provided)
* Offsiding the machine - manually remove products from end of production line and place into racking/storage.
* Ensure machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, well‑maintained and perform periodic checks on output.
What You Need to Succeed
* Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport
* High Risk Work Forklift licence - desirable
* Experience within steel/metal distribution or manufacturing - desirable
* Be available for an immediate start
* Have a current National Police Clearance valid within 3 months, or be able to obtain one
* Able to pass medical and drug & alcohol screening
