Estimator role at Design & Build Recruitment
Design and Build Recruitment is searching for an estimator with experience working in the commercial construction space.
The successful applicant will focus on fit-out projects up to $10M and new-build projects up to $5M across multiple sectors including education, retail, government, health, entertainment, and office.
The focus is to produce high-quality fit-out and new-build projects while delivering excellent service and experience to clients.
Responsibilities
Creating tenders from first principals
Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers
Risk analysis of projects via plans and programs
Collecting and analysing the scope of works to estimate the cost of labour, machines, subcontractors, time and any other associated costs
Setting programmes and budgets from structure through to handover
Requirements
At least five years post-graduate experience as an estimator
Proven experience attending tender meetings and working closely with clients
Experience tendering and winning projects valued up to at least $5 M
Confident liaising with architects, engineers and other consultants
Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage a programme to time and budget
Effective communicator
Salary: A$120,******–A$140,****** (depends on experience).
