We are currently looking for a Guest Service Agent who will deliver exceptional first impressions and unforgettable guest experiences through warm, inviting, thoughtful and seamless service.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver memorable guest experiences and the warmest of welcomes
* Check-in and check-out guests: cash handling and processing payments
* Engage with guests to build personal relationships and remedy any complaints
* Handle incoming and internal hotel calls from both guests and residents, with responsibility for owning each guest query and coordination of hotel services to meet guest need
* Resolve guest issues and use feedback to improve guest satisfaction
* Share knowledge of the local area, recommending events, places of interest, and restaurants
* Lead as a brand ambassador
* Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone
Requirements
* Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn new things
* Previous hotel experience in a Front Office environment or similar customer service experience preferred but not essential
* Great communication skills: warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to
* Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* Problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities for every guest to leave with great memories
* Experience with reservation systems including Opera, PMS, and Excel desirable
* Fluent English; additional languages great
