Linkforce is a leading integrated project delivery, maintenance, engineering, and services delivery business. Our projects business unit delivers Brownfields and Greenfield work packages for a high-volume project portfolio with a Blue Chip mining client base.
We are seeking a QAQC Coordinator to join the awarded Conveyor & Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades Package on the Cape Lambert A High Density Ore (CLAHDO) Project on the Pilbara coast in Western Australia. This project involves electrical, instrumentation and control system upgrades, conveyor drive station upgrades and other infrastructure upgrades. The role is based on a FIFO roster for the project duration, scheduled for completion in August 2026, with potential for further opportunities on alternate projects.
The Role
As a QAQC Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring adherence to Linkforce’s Project QMP system, client specifications and statutory legislation
- Coordinating quality system activities within the contract and providing support to the wider team
- Providing technical support for electrical installation and testing, welding and coating operations within the project
- Reviewing project-specific documentation (e.g., work packs, methodologies, repair instruction authorities)
- Assisting the Engineering team with compilation and review of MDRs
- Developing and reviewing ITPs as required
- Managing completion of ITRs through CCMS system
- Facilitating punch list walkdowns
- Managing construction verification of subsystems and facilitating handover to commissioning
- Providing support for Non-Conformance Reports
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a quality assurance role within resources, engineering or construction
- Tertiary Engineering or Quality Assurance or Trade qualification
- Auditor Training by a nationally accredited training body is desirable but not essential
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Rio Tinto Fixed Plant specifications and Australian Standards
- Strong understanding and knowledge of electrical and instrumentation quality requirements
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Welding and NDT activities
- Strong understanding and knowledge of NACE coating inspections
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage with stakeholders
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
