As Manager, Governance, you'll play a key role in supporting the Commercial Bank's risk governance framework.
You'll be responsible for coordinating and managing governance forums, preparing executive-level papers, and maintaining critical governance registers and controls.
This role is central to ensuring our governance processes are well-structured, compliant, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
You'll work closely with senior leaders across the Business Wealth Division, contributing to the rhythm of decision-making and helping shape how risk is managed across the bank.
This is a full-time position, based in Sydney, with a hybrid working model that offers flexibility and balance.
What do I need?
We're looking for someone who's confident navigating governance and risk in a complex environment, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail: Proven experience in governance, risk, or compliance within a large organisation.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise papers for senior audiences.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
A collaborative mindset and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and governance obligations.
