We're delivering a major turbine support program in WA for a leading global OEM, and we're seeking IRATA Rope Access Technicians based locally in WA to join our supportive Renewables team.
About the Role
You'll be supporting major and minor component replacements, cleaning and painting, learning some fiberglass repair works on wind turbines via rope access.
As an IRATA Level 3, you'll lead and operate rope safety systems on-site, supervise Level 1/2 techs, and ensure high standards of rigging and compliance throughout the project.
As an IRATA level 1 / 2 technician you will have experience working on Wind Turbine Projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Set up and supervise rope access operations on wind turbine structures
· Coordinate with OEM field teams during mechanical replacements
· Manage rope rescue readiness and on-site access control
· Complete relevant job safety documentation and daily reporting
· Maintain a proactive, safety-first approach at all times
· Have high attention to detail for world class completion of scopes
What You'll Need
· IRATA accreditation with proven log books of recent works
· GWO Basic Safety Training (mandatory) – Working at Heights, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness
· White Card - Construction Induction (mandatory)
· Valid Driver's License
· Based in Western Australia
· Proven leadership on rope in industrial/high-risk environments
· Confident with rigging systems and turbine platform access
· Comfortable with remote work and extended hours during rostered periods
· Ability to complete medical assessments and random D&A testing
· Willingness to travel to remote sites (FIFO / DIDO)
