The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior EMC Test & Evaluation Lab Technician to support Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing in an ISO/IEC *****:**** Accredited Laboratory supporting Boeing internal projects and external Clients.
The role is based in Brisbane at our Wacol facility.
Responsibilities:
* Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and technologies.
* Coordinates test requirements, facilitates execution of test methods and capabilities.
* Conducts tests, analyses data and documents results.
* Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems.
* Coordinates test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs.
* Coaches and trains others.
Experience/Qualifications
* Test & Evaluation technical support and analysis.
* Trade/tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or Radiocommunications Technician.
* Proficiency in analog, digital and RF Disciplines.
* Familiarity with engineering change processes.
* Ex Military Communications Technician experience desirable
* Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
* Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance - Negative Vetting 1.
