Workshop Supervisor – Fabrication & Site Services About the Role We seek an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead a dynamic fabrication team in Melbourne’s west. You will oversee daily production, manage trades personnel, ensure quality and safety standards compliance, and liaise with management to drive performance. This hands-on leadership role combines operational oversight with technical involvement in the tools. Key Responsibilities Supervise workshop staff, including tradespersons and apprentices, ensuring efficient task allocation and performance monitoring. Manage production schedules, allocate resources, and oversee workflow to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks. Ensure compliance with OHS/WHS standards, lead daily pre-starts/toolbox meetings, and promote a safety-first culture. Interpret engineering/workshop drawings and fabrication plans to guide the team’s work in structural steel, pump, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
