About The Role
Woodside is looking for a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to join the Team for a 12 months+ time horizon. This role is Karratha based.
In this role, you will have an excellent opportunity to further enhance your operational and technical engineering skills and experience working with a wide variety of rotating equipment; working in a multi-discipline team developing effective, fit for purpose and executable solutions to address facility risks in a prioritised manner.

Indicative Term of Contract: 12 months
Skills & Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years in a technical Rotating Equipment Engineer capacity
* Experience on industrial rotating machinery including gas turbines (heavy duty and aeroderivative), compressors (centrifugal, axial and reciprocating) and pump
* 5+ years experience in Oil & Gas operations
* Process Safety knowledge
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
* Ability to coach junior engineers
* Strong understanding of management of change, risk identification & assessment.
* Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Lead complex plant modifications to reduce safety, environmental, regulatory, and financial risks to ALARP.
* Provide technical input into equipment breakdown and troubleshooting, performance monitoring, maintenance strategy and work planning, HAZOP / LOPA workshops, ART forums, and incident investigations.
* Manage external service providers for multidiscipline projects including scope definition, budget approval, assurance reviews, and schedule tracking.
* Collaborate across disciplines to deliver practical engineering solutions and support planning engineering via maintenance strategies, procedure updates, and queries.
