In the last 9 years, Baker Bleu has seen significant growth - with 5 locations across 2 states (and more on the way), Baker Bleu is proud to bring back the joys of real bread using the ancient techniques of long fermentation sourdough.
Beyond our renowned sourdough bread, we offer sweet and savory pastries, sandwiches, sourdough pizza, and excellent coffee in partnership with Market Lane. We're committed to creating ethical and delicious products that Melbourne loves.
In the coming months, our production and dispatch team will relocate to a purpose‐built bakery in Braeside — designed from the ground up for bread production.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced picker/packer to join our team - working a spread of days, with shifts starting at 11pm. This role is crucial in ensuring our goods are packed correctly and reach our stores on time, in excellent condition, and with minimal picking errors. If you are reliable, safety‐conscious, take pride in your work, and have a knack for organisation, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Night shifts, starting at 11pm, with appropriate reimbursement.
* Prepare products for dispatch, ensuring all items are packed correctly and securely, while conducting quality checks.
* Work closely with team members to coordinate packing & deliveries and ensure smooth operations.
* Complete ad hoc tasks to ensure the packing/dispatch area is tidy, clean, and well stocked.
To be considered for this role, you will need to bring:
* Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
* Previous exposure to logistics, ideally night shift.
* Strong organisational skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
