Behaviour Support Practitioner
About the Role:
We are seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering life-changing support services to individuals with disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing positive behaviour support plans, working collaboratively with customers, families, and stakeholders to achieve individualised goals.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement positive behaviour support plans in consultation with customers, families, and relevant stakeholders.
* Undertake clinical assessments and provide practice advice/support to reduce and eliminate restrictive practices.
* Support the effective implementation of positive behaviour support plans by providing training and intensive support to families and stakeholders.
* Complete needs assessments, NDIA review reports, and deliver 1:1 therapy sessions to customers to support skill development and setting up their environment to meet their needs.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Behavioural Science, Developmental Education, Social Work or relevant allied health/education field that allows registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
* Current registration with the DEAI or relevant professional body.
* Proficient level practitioner with demonstrated experience and understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and working with people with a disability in a therapeutic capacity.
* Solid understanding of NDIS funding packages and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission/regulated restrictive practice.
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, families, and other service providers.
