Job Overview
Care Managers lead residential aged care teams in providing high-quality clinical support.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure residents receive quality care at all times, adhering to Aged Care quality Standards and policy.
* Provide leadership and coaching to teams for quality resident outcomes.
* Work safely, following policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
* Support the Residential Manager as a senior team member.
Requirements
* A genuine passion for delivering quality care to the elderly.
* Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
* In-depth understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Quality Standards.
* Understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
* Comprehensive Clinical knowledge and understanding of age-related health issues.
* Knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety.
* Previous experience working in residential aged care in a similar role.
* Strong coaching/training skills and ability to influence others.
* Customer-centric approach to business.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
* Competent IT skills including Microsoft suite.
* Willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
