Position: Health Data Administrator
Job type: Fulltime
Location: Oakleigh, Melbourne VIC
**Salary**: $70,855 + Super
The successful applicant will report to the Community Services Manager on a daily basis, some of the following tasks are as follows:
- Provide customers exceptional customer service both face-to-face and over the phone;
- Complete and ensure accurate data entry when admitting and updating patient details on the Patient administrative system (iPM), and other data entry and administrative duties as required (as outlined on the attached PD)
- Provide high level administrative assistance including the organisation of meetings and booking venues for managers or senior clinicians
- Maintain day to day operations including ordering requirements and requests for maintenance work within SCMHS and HOPE environment
- This role will require the taking of minutes, preparation of agendas, running of reports from
- Monash Health databases and collation of documentation for meetings
- Administrative tasks as required (filing/typing/following up on deadline requests)
- Assist in the development and maintenance of processes contributing to the streamlining of tasks for the management team
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of and work within the Monash Health and Mental Health
- Program Policies and procedures
- Manager information with regard to the need for confidentiality in accordance with relevant legislation and Monash Health practices
- Carry out compliance and improvement against key elements of quality and safety
- Be responsible for quality of care at point of care
- Ensure that there is financial responsibility and accountability across the functions under the position's control
- Work under the direction of the APMH Service Manager and APMHS Team Leaders to ensure compliance with the Delegation Authority for Monash Health
- Participate and co-operate in consultative processes to improve health and safety.
- Observe safe working practices and as far as you are able, protect your own and others health and safety.
- Monitor the operations and continuous improvement of the Monash Health Occupational Health and Safety Management System within the area of responsibility and provide a safe and positive workplace
To be considered for this position the successful applicant will need to have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in a relevant qualification OR
- a minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar role
