About the Role – Gatehouse Attendant
We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Gatehouse Attendant at our Ballarat site.
This role is vital in ensuring efficient and smooth waste transactions while assisting customers with their disposal and recycling needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a computerised system (i-Weigh) to log waste transactions
Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately
Assist customers with inquiries about waste disposal and recycling
Ensure safety and compliance at the facility
What We're Looking For:
Basic computer skills (essential)
Friendly and professional customer service skills
Commitment to safety and teamwork
Passion for sustainability and recycling
Previous experience in customer service or waste management (desirable but not required – full training provided)
Must be available to work weekends
