The Role This permanent part-time Bookkeeper position (3 days - approx. 24hrs p/w) reports to the Owner/Director as part of a small close-knit team. You will be taking ownership of the finance function from the ground up and have the opportunity to implement process improvements where you see fit! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a very hand on and diversified role. This role’s focus is predominantly AP, AR, month end reporting, GL BS recs, monthly reporting, journals, bank recs and end to end Payroll for approx. 30 people. Ideally you will previously worked as a bookkeeper in a high-volume environment for small - medium sized organization with exposure in managing all aspects of general accounting. Responsibilities will include: Full function AP/AR Month/Year end reporting G/L Recs B/S Recs Collections Credit reference checks/credit viability Aged Debtor reports Bank Recs Payroll end to end Journals BAS HR/Admin About You You will have had previous experience in managing a finance function from the ground up. Experience in an industry with emphasis on Stock/Inventory control (ie Manufacturing/Wholesale/Distribution etc) is ideal.
