This role is offered on a flexible full-time basis. We provide an end-to-end Tax Controversy service to our clients, which enables the role to have a lot of variety. As our Consultant – Tax Controversy & Policy, you will advise clients on a broad range of tax matters with a focus on the technical and tactical management of all things tax. Your key responsibilities include:Assist with providing advice to a range of clients, from large corporates to high-net-worth individuals, helping them to develop and document their tax corporate governance processes and test the operational effectiveness of their tax corporate governance framework.Research matters of tax administration, get involved in dispute resolution processes and help clients respond to requests for information in the context of ATO reviews and audits.Be involved in the drafting of objections, private binding ruling requests, requests for amended assessments and submissions against penalties.What we’re looking forHere’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes.
